We've all heard people buzzing about how 2026 is the new 2016, so what trends do you think should be brought back for Spring of 2026?

   We all remember the preppy VSCO girls who would post beach pics with their hydroflasks, seashells and scrunchies. 
   
   While the VSCO style itself may not be coming back, a rise in beach aesthetics and some love for the seashell collector girlies is surely on its way back in!

   Chokers & Tight/Fitted necklaces. Whether they be made with jewels, simple metal chains, or leather; this accessory had a GRIP on us back then. 
   
   Unlike some of the other trends, I've actually SEEN this one used in person; unlike some other trends such as the famed mustache finger tattoo.

   While ripped jeans never fell out of style, they saw a massive boom in popularity around 2016. Why? I don't think we'll ever know. All we remember is how angry it made our parents. 
   
   Who else remembers those lectures of paying full price for torn-up clothes? As a new adult with my own spending money... I can see where they're coming from!

   Bell sleeves were never just a trend to me. Ever since i got my first bell-sleeved shirt back in 2016, I've refused any other style of long-sleeve shirt ever since! 
   
   I'm sincerely hoping we see a resurgence of these in malls and stores soon, you have no idea how hard it is to find a decent bell-sleeve these days!

Denim shorts, specifically with black (or sometimes patterned!) leggings or tights underneath. 

I'm really not even sure how these came about. I think we're all sort of flip-floppy about this combination, sometimes it's a hit and other times it is a tragic miss. 

However, I think that with the 2026 fashion suave everyone seems to have nowadays -- a new wave of short-legging combos will feel like a breath of fresh air.

Stop settling for the second-best man!

 Who else is tired of seeing girls settle for less than 25% of what they deserve!? 

It's high time that we stop normalizing the bare minimum that most men give us. People will tell you that if your standards are too high, you'll be alone forever, or if you're too strict on a man he'll leave... but see the lives of girls who DONT have high standards and ARENT strict with their men versus the lives of girls who DO and ARE. 

Furthermore, it's okay to be single. You're allowed to wait for a person that treats you the way you want and deserve to be treated. You don't have to accept the ''next best thing'' just because he's what's right in front of you. 

If you give yourself the time and patience to bloom, you may even find that you're happier & better off without a man in your life at all. And in that case; good for you! I'm proud.
